• Identify cost elements, such as project expenses, materials, machinery, and labor.
• Work aligned with the Senior Cost control engineer to Identify the deviation between the planned budget versus the actual.
• Code all the project expenses.
• Prepare Material waste and Manpower productivity reports.
• Prepare a monthly reports of project cost status and provide a feedback to all the concerned parties.
• Alert the department team leader when any over-run in project planned cost.
• Review Inventory and accounting reports.
• Recommend corrective actions when cost overrun occurs regarding the cost of the material, machines, and manpower after analyzing warehouse, subcontractors, and timesheet reports.
• Ensure the cost coding system is properly applied and information flow is correct.
• Monitor the cost control system during the project execution.
• Assist in performing a close out plan for the project
• Perform other related duties as required.
