1. Operations |
· Study Bid Documents (drawings, specification and scope of works before conclusion quantities) · Identify and report lacking documents, missing or duplicated details and ambiguities/ conflicting items in clients BOQ and bid requirements · Prepare query to Estimator for clarifications and pass it to the Estimator in charge · Prepare MTO/ BOQ sheets – in detailed and in summary format- the MTO take-off lists / bill of quantity to include item description, calculations, classifications, specs, drawing references, constructability remark as per project requirement/ comply with CSI Format (as possible) relating to BOQ of client and provide a link · Coordinate with the bid staff – all disciplines - in relation to the scope of work requirements · Support the bid Discipline Engineer(s) in preparing RFQ for materials and Subcontract Services · Inform the Estimation Engineer about the daily progress of works · Maintain a good working relationship with Estimation Personnel · Ensure the control of Quantity Survey in accordance with agreed program · Attend/ participate in the project Meetings (internally) |
2. Policies, Processes, and Procedures |
· Follow all relevant Estimation department’s policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner · Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems processes and practices taking into account leading practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement · Promote the implementation and adherence to policies, processes and operating procedures to others within Nesma and Partners |
3. Safety, Health, and Environment |
· Comply with all relevant safety, health and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment · Participate in incident and accident investigations as required in line with agreed safety, health and environment policies, procedures and controls · Report on changes within Nesma and Partners that impact relevant safety, health and environment all management policies, procedures and controls |
