Key account salesman in MT BU1 will lead & drive sales and execution in assign Key account customers/ stores. He will be responsible in achieving sales targets on a monthly basis while maintaining optimum availability & visibility in assigned stores at any given time.
- Sales target achievement
- Implement and maintain contract compliance and promotional activities
- Regular call cycle for all key account branches and customer central warehouses – create and implement workable and effective journey route on agreed format ensuring that all buyers and section heads are visited weekly
- 90% of time spent in the market
- Carryout weekly OSA audits in store through MT mobile application
- Complete a daily sales report and submit to KAM
- Ensure that all skus are available in branches and central warehouse
- Regularly check prices and update KAM
- Manage short expiry and damages
- Manage and maintain share of shelf, promotional displays and forward stocks
- Manage and maintain customer central warehouse stocks
- Monitor merchandiser activity – coordinate schedules and workload
- Give direction and guidance to merchandising team in line with key account objectives
- Customer purchase order input, collection and follow up
- Submit P.O.s to sales administrator daily and follow up on deliver dates
- Review daily with sales administrator the progress of all P.O.s
- Collect customer payment
- Ensure that all issues are addressed immediately and are reported to the KAM
- Monitor merchandiser availability reports by principal and review with KAM
