RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
– In charge of overall I/C accounting including booking of I/C invoices, timely payments & collection allocation.
– Coordinates with IC Partners and ensure reconciliation of IC balances at month end
– Responsible for taking care of overall A/P
– Ensures expenses are booked and accounted to appropriate accounts and cost centers
– Process timely payments to vendors after carefully ensuring invoices are properly authorized
– Coordinate with stores and purchasing for GR issue and PO discrepancies
– Analyze and accrue monthly expenses such as freight, travel, and other expenses
– Monitor advances paid to suppliers and ensure to clear within reasonable period
– Run Month End stock reports and close monthly AR, AP, Stock, GRNI and Cash Management ledgers
– Assist in month end closing, SOX Reports and others project as may be required
– Ensure NOV Accounting Controls are in place and in compliance
– Maintains of financial records. Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
– Maintains general ledger, adjusting entries for amortizations prepayments, accounts payable ledgers, preparing accruals.
– Update accounts receivable and accounts payable and perform reconciliations
– Assist in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS/ EXPERIENCE :
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
Minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar role
Excellent knowledge of MS Office especially Excel
English fluency
Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
Adaptable and can work with less supervision
Excellent communicating skills
Problem analysis and problem-solving skills
Deadline-Oriented
Excellent organizing abilities
Initiative and team work
