General Overview : Assembles the semi-finished components into a tricone rockbit
Primary Responsibilities:
• To be trained and certified to perform at least 5 of the following assembly operations, namely, Pre-assembly, Bit chipping and cleaning, Pressure testing, Greasing, Washing and Painting, Boxing
• However, this clause may be waived if operational reasons require management to restrict the job holder to lesser operations.
• To quality control work to Engineering and Quality Specifications and report non-conforming parts to QA Inspector for writing up MDR.
• To train junior Assembly Operators on-the-job and prepare them for certification by QA.
• Be safety conscious, wear required PPE, practice good house-keeping and maintain a safe working environment.
• Ensure compliance of the company’s QHSE policies.

Qualifications:
Experience and Education:
Technical/Trade Certificate with0 – 2 years in metal parts fabrication and assembly.
Job Requirements:
• Observes safety regulations, wears required safety equipment, encourages safe working
• Adheres to all HSE requirements
• Works shifts
