On behalf of a leading multinational Retailer we are seeking a Consultant, Restaurant Technology for our clients Riyadh office. Reporting to the Manager Restaurant Maintenance & Support.
You will be responsible to supervise the activities of a team of IT professionals who provide technical support to all the stores’ information systems to ensure these systems operate effectively and reliably.
• Lead the day-to-day activities of a team of IT professionals to ensure that the stores’ Information Systems, and associated Hardware & Software, function reliably; activities of team members may include installing, configuring, and maintaining information systems and their associated hardware and software.
• Organise regular knowledge sharing and training on upcoming technologies to keep store support team updated.
• Conduct periodic IT systems studies to determine adequacy of the systems and recommend improvements
• Refer problems to vendor and supplier support services and monitor problem Resolution in timely manner to ensure that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of the system
• Ensure system security is maintained and monitored at all times and in accordance with the company’s Information Security policies
• Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention and redirect problems to appropriate resources
• Ensure that store issues have been attending accordance to SLA or in specified time period by store support team.
• Keep track that all systems and application is running system-wide to have smooth day to day operations and reporting.
• Make sure that vendor has completed their job as per POC or as per standard provided to them .
• Analyze and evaluate the performance of store systems and associated hardware and software to identify risks, areas for improvement, and to ensure that the stores’ IT complies with all relevant regulations and standards
• Keep track on store inventory and manage consumables accordingly. Making sure that items are disposed-off and inventory transactions have completed on time in stores and relevant warehouses are updated also.
• Ensure Safety stocks and material planning is up to date, along with NCR as well as return goods from Operations tagging and transferring to inventory or FA as appropriate .
• Communicate with global IT team to keep abreast of initiatives and developments.
• Lead, monitor, and supervise the implementation of new global IT initiatives in local stores to ensure compliance with global practices
• Communicate and train team members on all Global IT initiatives
• Supervise team members; prioritize and assign tasks to ensure team’s resources are used effectively and IT store projects are implemented in accordance with project plans and budgets
• Provide regular feedback and coaching to develop team members
• Oversee team member’s communication with end users to ensure their IT related problems have been addressed and resolved quickly and satisfactorily
• Respond to more complex, escalated enquiries from team members and check the quality of their work
• Provide opportunities for store support staff to suggest, participate in, and contribute to improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing initiatives
• Ensure IT store systems comply with company policies, processes, practices and systems, and maintain high standard of work and work ethic
