• Develop annual technology goals and detailed plans for goal accomplishment.
• Manage the acquisition, installation and maintenance of the organization’s LAN/WAN and computing systems.
• Manage all aspects of IT operations.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies with cost/benefit analysis and profitability to the company.
• Develop and maintain appropriate technology policies, standards and procedures manual and provide guidance on acceptable usage policy to managers, supervisors, staff and customers/suppliers.
• Supervise computer system validation as per the requirements of Regulatory Agencies (GMP).
• Ensure the availability, continuity and security of data and information pertaining to the organization.
• Manage technology projects; participate in committees, task forces, and workgroups to facilitate technology meetings and workshops.
• Develop and manage technology budget and monitor related expenditures.
• Design, develop and maintain web-based applications including websites and intranets. Continuously improve the organization's Web site and Intranet; add new functionality to improve its user friendliness.
• Stay well informed of the technology developments. Research and recommend new technologies / improvements for better performance.
• Assist staff in understanding and using technology; conduct regular staff technology presentations and trainings. Coordinate with HR for IT related training.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the organization and adhere to all organizational policies and standards.
