Role Purpose:
This role is responsible for developing and implementing training and development programs and activities leading to the advancement and development of talent at IDB.
The job holder provides the needed technical, logistical and administrative support to IDB employees and managers.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Identifies and assesses the employees' training and development needs through training needs analysis, job analysis, and appraisal schemes and produces a resourced and budgeted annual training plan based on needs identified for individuals, teams, and IDB's vision and mission.
* Develops and prepares course content and support materials as required
* Organizes and coordinates training logistics (i.e.: venue, material, travel and accommodation of external trainers when required, etc.).
* Manages and follows up with the training providers and maintain a database of curriculum, materials, and personnel training records.
* Ensures timely participant registration and course confirmation with training vendors.
* Organizes training programs in cooperation with the course providers, and collects and analyzes training-related data.
* Measures and follows up on the effectiveness of training activities and prepares reports for the management determining the impact of training on employee skills and corporate goals.
* Organizes and coordinates logistics requirements for each training venue, arrange printing and delivery of collaterals and book travel and accommodation of external trainers when required.
* Designs, develops, and implements career development programs to develop talents from within the work force to assume supervisory / managerial responsibilities.
* Trains instructors and managers in techniques and skills for training and dealing with employees.
* Coordinates and manages the execution of staff training needs assessments and leadership assessments.
* Assists in the planning, development and implementation of different development programs (i.e.: Management Development Programs (MDP), Staff Capacity Development Program, Young Professional Program (YPP), Staff support program, etc.
* Supports the planning, design, development and delivery of new employees on-boarding training to support the effective and efficient induction of new members.
