The main objective of this role would be to improve the reliability of the trains. Working towards technical analysis of the frequent faults that are happening in the fleet on daily basis. Proposing improvement corrective actions in the faults that are being repeated fleet wise with proper documentation. He will be leading a team of technicians for corrective tasks in the train, provide and share with them his technical knowledge acquired through his past experience.
It requires coordination with Preventive Maintenance team, ware house team and other departments involved in the Maintenance.
Ability to work under pressure in case of technical failure in the trains and to register the corrective actions and share with this team members.
Quality Systems- Tidiness and Cleanliness: Knowledge and application of the quality, tidiness and cleanliness regulations and requirements in the organisation.
Occupational Risk prevention and the environment: Application of occupational risk prevention and environmental regulations which must currently be enforced in the organisation
Key Result Area:
• To attend the Failures in the train that appears on daily basis during revenue services and maintains documents for the same.
• To provide failure reports and maintain the failure report registers with all necessary supporting documents.
• To provide and suggest engineering changes for the faults those are frequently repeated in the fleet and documentation of the same.
• To provide technical training for this team and assist them during major troubleshooting process in the fleet.
• Preparation of Monthly failure analysis report and working towards improvement of the fleet based on the failure analysis.
• Providing technical reports for the failure of the parts & sub-parts of various systems to the suppliers and coordination with them to claim warranty.
