Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Process carefully all Purchase Requisitions assigned to him and to convert them into Purchase Orders (PO’s) to the selected vendors.
2. Make sure that all requirements of each specific purchase is covered as precised and defined in the Purchase Requisition by the respective originators.
3. Proceeds with discount requests in excess to Rock Bottom Prices obtained from the vendors.
4. Register the invoices and ensures that all relevant documents as per PO’s payment terms are available.
5. Maintain and update the individual POs files to ensure proper record keeping.
6. Ensure that vendors return their respective POs fully stamped and signed as ackonwledgement of content and terms.
7. Ensure that the Data related to their activities are maintained and kept updated in the Oracle Procurement System (OPS).
8. Carry out any other tasks as may be assigned by his line supervisor and the Procurement Manager.
