ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Establishes and maintains network performance by building net configurations and connections; troubleshooting network problems. The key responsibility is to maintain, monitor and completely manage the networks, it can be a LAN or a WAN network. Ability to train the network administrators to carry on the job.
• Must possess excellent communications and technical skills
• Establishes networking environment by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards
• Maximizes network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with network architects on network optimization
• Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies; defining and monitoring access
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
• Must maintain the network infrastructure environment is available 24x7 and successfully managed proactively
• Review root cause analysis report on network performance and troubleshoot problems across all domains
• To participate in incident, problem and capacity management processes
• Up-to-date knowledge and understanding of new technologies
• Current F5 LTM/GTM configuration implementation with Irules, and SSL offloading
• Manage workload effectively to meet timelines with good quality
• Provide break/fix incident management support for network outages and move/add/change incidents
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering
• CCIE routing and switching
• Preferred CCIE data center
• CCNP routing and switching
• CCNA security and wireless
• ITIL (v3) Foundation
