The Chief Surveyor is responsible for supervising the surveying work on different sites or in area of mega projects, ensuring compliance with project’s requirements and preparing the analysis and report\n\nDuties & Responsibilities:-\n\nSupervises the work activities of surveyors and CAD operators to ensure appropriate delivery of results.\nPrepares documentation and surveying activities for the surveyor, assists in performing the layout and controls the accuracy of the work.\nCoordinates surveying activities with the assigned site engineer(s) to meet the construction requirements.\nCalculates the traverse and geo-reference of the project.\nProvides work control line and elevations that are required for accurate measurement.\nMonitors as built conditions that require the use of surveying.\nUsing computer-aided design (CAD), Topography software’s and other IT software to interpret data and present information; Keeping up to date with new and emerging technology;\nInterpreting data using maps, charts and plans;\nDiscussing specific project requirements with clients to ensure that the customers is satisfied with the service\nReport by Weekly report form to the Survey Section Head and Take initiative and responsibilities on his duty\nEnsure that the customers are satisfied with the service and answer to their complaints\nResearches previous survey evidence, maps, deeds, physical evidence, and other records to obtain data needed for surveys.\nAnalyzing information thoroughly before it is handed over to other professionals;\nThinking creatively to resolve practical planning and development problems;\nFrequently Present on site he will coordinate with all site management for their entire requirement with respect to SGIS Procedure.\nMaintains surveying equipment’s in good condition and adjusts if needed.\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Surveying Engineering\nOr Significant Experience in site teams management\n\n2-3 years’ experience in a similar field on site. Construction Pipeline is a plus
