About job

To work on cross functional teams including Sales, Product Marketing and Services to create a strategy that provides the best solutions to customers. To become intimately acquainted with the customer's business requirements, technical needs, systems, environment and service history, enabling you to present targeted business solutions. Responsible for providing pre sales support for selling Information Management Products and Services to existing and potential customers. Utilize your relationship building skills in working with vendors, partners and sales to ensure that optimum systems solutions are provided to customers.

 

Job Responsibilities

• 
  
• Work closely with sales as a consultant to understand prospect’s technical needs related to a specific market or specific product.
• 
  
• Perform consultative selling of optimum support and system solutions.
• 
  
• Manage and evolve a comprehensive technology collaboration and support.
• 
  
• Provide technical consultation/education to the Sales team and keep them apprised on new product information.
• 
  
• Participate in customer evaluations and proof of concepts for deploying test systems.
• 
  
• Keep apprised of all new product features and fixes.
• 
  
• Identify customer needs and requirements.
• 
  
• Define all elements of a customer’s technical computing environment.
• 
  
• Provide technical support to current customer and “try
• 
  
• and
• 
  
• buy” test projects.
• 
  
• Defining customer acceptance criteria for “try
• 
  
• and
• 
  
• buy” evaluation projects.
• 
  
• Work with Sales to respond to RFP’s.
• 
  
• Attending customer calls with the Sales Representative and Answer customer questions
•
