About job

Working within the R&D team, on some of the biggest projects in the smart metering landscape. Working on new products which include the latest generation of Smart Meters and Comms Hubs, as well as new products. Helping in the design and the develop of the wireless firmware within the product range as well as working with the development team and testing teams with all wireless firmware.

 

Job Responsibilities

• 
  
• Design the specification, architecture, implementation, and test of firmware/software systems.
• 
  
• Understand hardware and software interactions, and collaborate with Hardware Engineers.
• 
  
• Research for industry technical meetings and conferences needed.
• 
  
• Understand. Create. Simplify other duties as assigned
• 
  
• Collaborate with other engineers on technical and design issues.
• 
  
• Adhere and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
