On behalf of a leading organization, we are seeking a Director General, Media and Public Relations for their Riyadh Head Office you will lead internal and external media and public relations activities to promote the company image and improve and enhance communications with its stakeholders, staff, counterparties and the media.
Develop the Media & PR strategy in line with company strategies.
Contribute to the company vision, mission, and strategy to ensure the delivery of short, medium- and long-term objectives.
Develop and approve Media & PR policies, processes, and procedures.
Establish and implement communication plans and professional Media and Public Relations programs that are received from the Business areas with the aim of creating, promoting and maintaining the top niche image both locally and regionally.
Manage the participation of exhibitions, seminars, and other events, both organized by the company or by external entities. Ensuring they are relevant to the company activities with a strong external image of the company being projected.
Oversee the development of the media & PR budget, approves it, and monitors financial performance versus the budget to ensure alignment.
Manage communication with stakeholders through the different media channels such as the internet, mailing lists, etc. to ensure that stakeholders are kept abreast of company activities.
Act as the principal contact for incoming communication from the media and the general public, representing at public meetings and manager media interviews with personnel within the company ensuring the promotion of better understanding of the company activities.
Manage the arrangements for VIP visitors, board meetings, the company events, and parties of visitors to the company ensuring such arrangements are efficiently and effectively handled and that the company is appropriately represented to the individuals concerned.
Establish a reporting system that enables the follow-up of media and public relations performance and ensures that information is available for sound decision making.’
Direct the process of effective department performance, overseeing performance management, recruitment, training and development of staff to ensure a high level of engagement and a motivated work environment.
Comply with all relevant safety, quality, health, and environmental procedures
