Job Summary / Role :
responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. Also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Manage efficient, cost-effective and lawful execution of all import activities.
2. Communicate with export and import and related authorities, and customers and suppliers, in all relevant territories and countries, as necessary to ensure efficient, positive and lawful relations, support and activities.
3. Negotiate contracts for sales/purchases and manage renew, review contracts as required to enable effective trading, operations and customer/supplier relations.
4. Plan and implement import/export strategy and activities consistent with overall aims and requirements of the organization. This includes preparing and submitting relevant administration in a timely and accurate manner.
5. Plan and prioritize personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales - especially managing personal time and productivity.
6. Plan and manage business portfolio/territory/business according to an agreed market development strategy.
7. Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
8. Use customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems, and update relevant information held in these systems.
9. Plan/carry out/support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales, and integrate personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities, eg., product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions and telemarketing.
10. Respond , support and follow up - Salesman- enquiries using appropriate methods.
11. Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
12. Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
13. Customer satisfaction.
14. Define the product strategy and road map
15. Be an expert with respect to the competition
16. Perform product demos to customers
17. Brief and train the sales and product specialist force
Major Accountabilities:
- Improve salesman and Product specialist technicality skills.
- Ensure sustainability of HEBA agencies
- Continuously monitoring market demands to add new product lines to HEBA
- Explore business opportunities with local customers.
- Technical Training and coaching the product specialist and salesman staff to meet full potential
