Job Purpose:
• This position will review and ensure the software testing deliverables (e.g. test cases – defects – test plans), will also participate in process improvement activities to ensure the smooth and simplicity of the process, and will be responsible of creating software testing metrics, collecting data and create reports regarding the testing activities.
Accountability:
• Obtain and study all software items (e.g. BRS, SRS) and test planning items (e.g. test plan, test cases) required to prepare and perform the system tests.
• Reviews all types of system test cases depending on project requirements.
• Maintain, and implement test strategies and test processes, and provide any information regarding their fulfillment to projects specifications and deadlines.
• Identifies testing activities issues, report risks and define solutions for current and future projects.
• Selects appropriate standards, methods, tools and applications for project use.
• Reviews quality assurance plans, data, procedures, and scripts.
• Creates traceability records, from test cases back to requirements, reporting on system quality and collecting metrics on test cases.
• Administrate the test management tool, also mentor team members on how to use it.
• Mentor software testers on the testing process and provide them with solutions to facilitate their daily activity.
• Communicate with other department to ensure QA process is correctly implemented and followed.
• Analyze testing results and provide adequate information which will help improving ELM products
• Arrange with project team members project project-related activities, to ensure QA process is correctly implemented and followed.
Working and Skill Requirements:
Education: Minimum Bachelor Degree in IT-related field
• Trainings:
• ISTQB (Advanced level) certificate(s) is desired.
• Tmmi, TPI next training and certificates is preferred
• Experience:
8 to 12 years of experience in software testing field, also process improvement experience is a plus.
