MISSION STATEMENT
Ensures a continuous supply of the product(s) to the customer(s) in the respect of the contractual commitments, contributing so to the Customer's Satisfaction.
Monitors and controls the production process to ensure reliable and safe operations while maintaining optimized energy performances.
Ensures the strict application of the safety rules in his department (Safety Work Permit Procedure).
Maintains the Documentation System (SOP) at a high level.
Manages, develops and motivates the team by providing appropriate training and coaching.
Ensures reporting is completed promptly and correctly.
MAIN CONTRIBUTIONS:
1- Process Plant Operation :
Monitors and optimizes the daily operation on the basis of products needs (liquid, gas) and production KPIs.
Monitors and controls process & machines parameters in order to detect and correct early any deviation of the production or process that could lead to a supply interruption, to a safety event ("risk management") or degrade the efficiency of the unit. Coordinates and leads response in the event of a plant upset.
Controls the Operator's shift logbook.
Controls the equipments (static, rotative) by regular tours (at least once a day).
Takes corrective actions, based on readings from DCS trends, field indications and gauges when required. Communicate with Maintenance Manager the opportunities to stop equipments (maintenance, repair).
Always looks for sources of efficiency optimization.
Provides accurate reporting to management (KPIs, Activity).
Participates / leads technical investigations related to incidents and upsets.
Implements the action plans.
Cooperates with Company Experts (Process Optimization, etc).
2- Safety & IMS
Issues Safe Work Permits for each job performed in the facility, following strictly AL Rules and Procedures.
Guarantees the right application of Log Out Tag Out and Bypass Procedures.
Organizes regularly toolbox safety talks with the team (ex. BSV).
Ensures that SOP are well known and applied by the team (ex. EIS, shutdown, etc).
Review and improve SOP on a regular basis.
Complies with local Rules and regulations and Air Liquide Industrial Management System.
Ensures that any change, defined as a modification per GP-13, is implemented according to the procedure "Management of Change".
3- Reporting
Prepares first report response in case of any plant incident.
Provides the required data for weekly and monthly reporting (Industrial Reporting, HR Reporting)
Participates to daily meeting lead by the Facility Manager.
4- Knowledge and Knowhow specific to the job.
1. Experience in Plant Operations, strong ability in technical matters
2. Rigorous mindset, compliant with internal rules and external regulations
3. Demonstrating knowledge of applicable engineering principles and processes
