• Gather, consolidate and review monthly VAT and Withholding tax returns
• Ensure returns submission to GZAT as per submission requirements and complying with applicable laws and regulations.
• Prepare and submit annual withholding tax return.
• Provide Tax and Zakat advice and liaise with relevant authorities
• Prepare the annual Zakat declarations
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of Zakat/withholding tax/VAT packages and Zakat/withholding tax/VAT payment to GZAT
• Maintain tax and zakat policies and procedures based on best practices and applicable laws and regulations
• Help with improvements regarding the tax accounting and compliance process
• Participate in ad-hoc project team activities to achieve given targets
• Follow and keep up-to-date on the most recent tax and zakat laws and regulations
• Prepare for corporate tax & Zakat inspection and ensure proper records to meet GAZT requirements.
• Identify and communicate any relevant changes in tax interpretation
• Ensure preparation of ad-hoc tax interpretation summaries
• Network proactively with other tax professionals
