Key Accountabilities: Basic Function: The Business Delivery Manager would be responsible for planning and implementation of all Business Development activities of Fugro-Suhaimi Ltd. He develops company marketing and sales plans. He ensures that the Divisional and Project Managers are provided with marketing support throughout the life of the contract. 1. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Marketing a) To develop the company marketing plan in conjunction with the General Manager; b) To maintain regular contact with key clients and new clients via sales visits and presentations; c) Representing Fugro-Suhaimi Ltd with clients and prospective clients by conducting client visits, attending trade shows/seminars etc; d) To help maintain company contact management system to ensure Business Development leads are appropriates administered and actioned; e) To maintain/develop commercial market knowledge to aid tendering strategies; f) To maintain and update Company sales literature (including website marketing content); g) To organize corporate hospitality events and functions; h) Assist General Manager in preparation and control of company marketing budget; i) To provide market information and assessments to management as required; j) Ensure efficient use of assets and manpower, including facilitation and coordination of marketing resources within the Divisions; k) When required, to ensure timely production of detailed technical/commercial proposals in compliance with company and customer requirements; l) To keep abreast of advantageous new technologies in the industry which may be promoted to clients; m) Inter OPCO liaison and development of productive relationships with key sister companies; n) To ensure marketing activities are conducted in accordance with Company’s QA/HSE processes; Financial a) To assist in strategic market related decision making – viz., new investments; Operational a) Assist Divisional Managers/Project Managers at project start up in preparation of project budgets and cash flows; b) Advise Divisional Managers/Project Managers on specific aspects that need to be considered on projects. Specific Additional Duties a) Liaise with and assist in the promotion and sales of group related activities; b) Assist other Sales & Marketing Managers within the group as and when necessary; c) Perform project risk analysis if potential risk is identified; d) Request HSE specifications related to projects from Clients; e) Actively participate in adherence to and improvement of the Company Management System on Quality and HSE related issues; f) Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region. 2. Principal Working Relationship a) Work with the General Manager and Divisional Managers to establish Development Plan/Strategies and coordination of activities between regional branches for efficient execution of projects; b) Liaise with the Financial Controller for financial control of administrative procedures and regional marketing aspects; c) Work with Divisional Managers to coordinate marketing and services to common clients; d) Work with Sales and Marketing Managers in other OPCOs to provide optimum support; e) Work with Divisional/Project Managers for efficient execution of projects. Qualifications required: a) Masters or Bachelors Degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering;
