Position Description: The Renewable Energy Project Development Office (REPDO) is seeking a Grid Connection Engineer to work within the Project Pre-development Unit.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Provide technical support for the development of power projects across Saudi Arabia.
• Supervision of technical consultants and technical verification of reports.
• Responsible for identifying points of interconnection and specifying fit for purpose grid connections in collaboration with national grid company.
• Responsible for the conceptual design, specification and engineering review of grid connection for renewable power plants.
• Drafting the performance specifications and employers’ requirements for the construction and operation of grid connections for renewable power plants.
• Evaluation of vendors and vendor proposals.
• Project budget estimation and optimization to support project financial analysis.
