Job Purpose
The individual will be responsible to the CEO for the management of public communications for the NRU, covering not only the NRU’s brand and image but particularly the promotion of the NRU’s key messages to businesses, communities and the public about the measures they can take to enhance their own safety and wellbeing.
Core Responsibilities
-Develop an understanding of the organization’s purpose, brand, goals and key messages and develop a media strategy around these elements that seeks to influence people’s attitudes and behavior.
-Develop and implement a media operations plan that delivers the strategy across all platforms, tailoring messages to audiences in a way which increases their likelihood of being well received.
-Utilize influencer networks and select those which can be used to deliver the NRU’s key messages.
-Extract and utilize key messages for any situation or campaign.
