Job description / Role:
As Project Manager, you will be fully responsible for the full range of catering services in our prestigious project. You will have to oversee the project to ensure the desired result is achieved, the most efficient resources are used and the various stakeholders are satisfied.
In this challenging position, you will have overall accountability for the following areas:
- Ensuring compliance of operations in line with contractual and legal obligations.
- Maintaining a high level of communication with our client and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Managing a 150 to 200 person-strong team of local and expatriates.
- Continual improvement in all areas of operational perimeter.
Requirements:
• Maintain daily quantitative and qualitative control of catering service under his direction.
• Control the administration of the location including personnel, reception, stock rotation, cost of food, man-day accounting, time sheets, wages sheets, sickness, leaves, etc., as per the defined procedures of the company.
• Set qualitative and quantitative objectives and ensure that all the divisions are performing within the scope of work achieving excellence in service, and targeted financial results.
• Liaise with client or his representative on site to receive feedback on the services provided.
• Take necessary decisions within delegated authority as and when required to ensure the smooth running of the location. Ensure that all minor issues concerned are dealt with on location (report major issues to the Operations Manager).
• Administering proper procurement of food/supplies, storage of food, food production, service of foods, food sanitation, customer relations, internal accounting controls and the organization, the supervision, and effect control of a work force of two hundred employees in a multiple number of facilities.
• Must be able to demonstrate a full working knowledge of menu development, recipe controls, food production, and food production control sheets, cost allocation, develop and present written and verbal reports, procedure controls and staff training.
• Must possess a full working knowledge of applicable food sanitary codes and practices, and must be able to understand and comply with the established oil and gas Code and other applicable regulations in the procurement, preparation, service, handling and storing of food to the satisfaction of the Company Representative.
• Developing the catering business from scratch and prepare project scheduling and timeline to run the project.
• Must possess good leadership skills and be self-motivated.
• Implement the business development technique in developing the project ideas and component to provide better opportunities.
• Training, development and selection for all members of the kitchen team in line with the work flow, as well as innovation and creativity at work.
• Experience in recruiting chief, assistant chief, quality assurance and dietitian.
• Experience in all required licensing for the manpower and prepare accurate budget and timeline.
• Represent NCMS by demonstrating professionalism and exemplary behavior. Comply with company’s policies and ethical principles.
• Be transparent in your communication with your superiors and your subordinates.
