Job Purpose:

Maintain flawless cash management, assuring accuracy and timeliness of payments and support of business growth in addition to maintain an efficient system of policies that adequately control treasury activities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Manage a variety of Cash Management projects to help in developing new banking and policies and procedures to maximize the associated control accounts, assist in determining the structure of a new banking subsidiary or optimize existing ones.
• 
  
• Manage a variety of Treasury and Capital Markets projects that would assist in developing and monitoring risk management strategies and policies for foreign exchange rate and commodity exposures.
• 
  
• Develop an annual budget for the company and create long-term projections based on departmental needs and upcoming capital projects
• 
  
• Cash management responsibilities to the company and its subsidiaries' day-to-day. Reviewing, updating, and disbursements and receipts daily.
• 
  
• Identify enhancements to the procedures and ways to improve efficiency.
• 
  
• Make decisions about loans and investment options based on the calculation of CMIS and other information received to the department concerning unusual transactions or planned strategies. This decision involves a very large amount of money and a long time. Make an independent assessment of the loan or investment / redemption amount based on time of day, vs. the expected completion of the transaction, and loan or investment option deadline.

• Run short-term investments and loans and communicate this to the bank / financial service providers and ensure that money moves directionally and transactions done correctly.
• 
  
• Analyse loan / investment options are limited by the guidelines established.
• 
  
• Resolve any issues relating to banking and accounting with daily cash management.
• 
  
• Responsible for maintaining appropriate banking and product and process enhancements.
• 
  
• Internal system of procedural and technical options.
• 
  
• Manage all insurance activities and all risk policies which would include managing relationships with business insurance service providers and/or insurance brokers.
• 
  
• Advise and update management on all business risks.
• 
  
• Manage actively all insurance claims, payments, and operations inquiries.
• 
  
• Monitor the accuracy of the procedure manual.
• 
  
• Supervises team members in duties and performance, providing feedback where necessary and reporting team strengths and weaknesses to Management.
• 
  
• Motivates, guides, and mentors team members to exceed goals and creates a positive environment.
•
