• Interacts with customers, over the telephone, to establish market information specific to them
• Keeps up-to-date with local market trends and relates impacts upon their customer’s via media such as: newspapers, internet, etc…
• Collects competitor intelligence e.g. Product ranges, rate Tariffs, brochures, etc…
• Shares information within the E channel sales team to improve the ability of yourself and others to identify the most applicable TNT service against competitor product offers
• Passes on the information gathered to the National Marketing department for further analysis
• Uses the appropriate systems to plan and prepare for sales calls to both existing and prospect customers e.g. contact person, address, trading history, etc…
• Performs calls to appropriate contacts within existing and prospect customers according to the standard activity KPIs and centrally agreed sales processes
• Supports campaigns as required by following-up on email and direct mail communication with customers
• Identifies the trade profile of all customers contacted and ensure the accurate updating of the TNT sales system.
• Forms professional and appropriate relationships within customer organizations through telephone contact in order to meet customer needs
• Ensures all customers are contacted on a regular basis by following the prescribed call cycle
• Promotes the full range of products, services and technologies to every customer over the telephone
• Directs customers to the correct part of TNT to meet immediate and long term needs
• Ensures customers are kept up to date with relevant TNT information
• Establishes appropriate relationships and communicates with other relevant functional areas
