SCOPE
To effectively manage and continuously improve all aspects of the spare parts function, including, availability, stores, and inventory in accordance with plant and business objectives.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES

• Monitor the parts inventory and anticipate parts needs
• 
  
• Ensure efficient storage handling of Spare Parts safely and securely.
• 
  
• Control and executes requisitions, price comparison, negotiation, ordering, receiving, inspection and issuance.
• 
  
• Maintain records of receipts, issuance, stock balances.
• 
  
• Control and supervises the stock taking/issuing/keeping operation according to the established procedures and direction.
• 
  
• Analyze all procurement reports, information bulletins, exemption list and like.
• 
  
• Ensures the needed information is delivered on timely basis to correct persone.
• 
  
• Coordinate with Engineering manager to return to the supplier any damaged or rejected Spare Parts and update the up to date available stocks.
• 
  
• Execute industrial safety and security measures according to the industrial security officer who inspects these matters periodically.
• 
  
• Organize the store to secure proper segregation of inventory items and facilitates deliveries and receipt procedures and inventory handling.
• 
  
• Own department SOPs development, renewal and qualification.
• 
  
• Participate in working out new system design, gaining management approval, testing and implementing the new system.
• 
  
• Perform periodic stock inventory. Any discrepancies are immediately investigated to identify the reasons for differences between the physical count and the book balances and corrective actions are taken. Inform direct Manager about any discrepancy.
• 
  
• Request for Quotations, negotiate and finalize (after getting the proper approval) for items & tools (which is not considered a spare parts stock) which is requested by other departments.
• 
  
• Supervise the issuing of the Spare Parts & Supplies maintaining the record.
• 
  
• Supervise the receiving of the returned Spare Parts from the customers and resolve the issue with the suppliers maintaining the proper record and references.
• 
  
• Coach and trains operation team (People Development).
• 
  
• Supervise the receiving of the Spare Parts received from suppliers and ensures their conformity with the contents of purchase orders and Quality before receiving.
• 
  

 

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Engineering or relevant fields.

 

Experience

+6 years experience.

 

Languages

Excellent verbal and written communication in English is a must.
