• The HR/Payroll Specialist is responsible for HRIS and employee file maintenance, preparing and submitting payroll, benefits administration and administrative HR support.
• Leads coordination and implementation of all relocation and visa administration matters, working closely with employees, managers, counseling on federal law legislation.
• Administers and maintains employee files and HRIS with accuracy; processing employment actions/changes to personal information, status changes, benefit enrollments and all deductions; a-hoc reporting as required.
• Processes and audits bi-weekly payroll and commission payroll including manual check calculations when applicable; distributes paychecks.
• Generates and submits payroll reports to Accounting/Finance department
• Prepares final checks and termination paperwork
• Prepares the reporting of HR information and data as directed
• Reviews and reconciles monthly carrier invoices
• Tracks leave of absence benefits payments
• Completes Disability and Unemployment inquires
• Participates in the new employee Onboarding & Orientation process
• Responsible for benefits administration including wellness programs
• Assist with policy development
• Experience in recruiting to provide back-up support
• Participates in special projects, employee events and team initiatives, and provides administrative support as assigned.
• All other duties and accountabilities, not listed above, as assigned.
• Compile with all requirement in quality manual and safety manual.
