Job Objective
Provides technical & administrative information to the others working on projects to ensure that ensure that the site is supplied with all documentation, methods and materials needed to carry out the works & the work complies with all engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design instruction.
Duties and Responsibilities
2.1 Supervise and review the preparations of construction method statements with construction personnel.
2.2 Preparing technical and material submittals.
2.3 Liaise between the construction and engineering teams ensuring the harmony between engineering team requirements and construction team deliverables.
2.4 Attend progress meetings, discuss and suggest technical proposals.
2.5 Take part in the project management review and risk management review.
2.6 Coordinate between the construction and engineering teams ensuring that the construction requirements are conveyed to the engineering teams and that the engineering deliverables satisfy the construction requirements.
2.7 Managing the cost analysis and cost control of site activities.
2.8 Coordinate with quantity surveyors or payment appreciations and change orders.
2.9 Review subcontractors' invoices & client invoices.
2.10 Follow-up with subcontractors during negotiations and offer award or subcontract terms, performance and payments.
2.11 Ensure in coordination with Site Engineers that execution of works are to the required quality and safety and resolves all technical problems for all trades.
2.12 Review contract documents & advise the Project Manager on technical matters affecting construction and time costs.
2.13 Documenting project issues/conditions.
2.14 Maintaining organized and detailed project records.
2.15 Study new bidding projects & Tender preparation / adjudication.
