Alliance Construction is a design-build general contractor with a design department (L'Atelier) where creativity is fostered.
The job entails assisting the Senior Architect in the design / shop drawing stage, prepare presentations as required. The candidate must also visit the site and supervise to ensure that the works comply with the drawings, Prepare architectural / interior drawings as required, prepare presentations in Photoshop, Illustrator, and other graphical tools.
Occasionally, the candidate is expected to do basic quantity takeoffs / Bill of Quantities. Also, a significant amount of time will be dedicated to exploring different materials and samples, discussing with suppliers, preparing mood boards, etc.
The bulk of projects will be interior fit-out (Grade A offices, high end restaurants, homes, etc.) although the company is expanding into construction of buildings as well.
