JOB SUMMARY:
The primary role of this job is to serve as the functional link between Sales, Operations, R&D, Sustaining Engineering and Product Line Management for Completion tools with regards to the support of existing and new technology. You will be responsible for the execution of job design software, calculations and technical specifications. You will also be expected to follow a specified learning plan that will include various computer-based learning modules as well as classroom training. During this phase, you may take on miscellaneous tasks as assigned to you by your Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Serve as the technical subject matter expert for contracts and tenders, provide technical support for operations as it pertains to the deployment of Multistage Fracturing tools.
• Assist with the delivery of technical presentations/training to internal and external clients
• Oversee, train, and support the introduction of technologies, products, and services until they can be handled locally.
• Maintain and track job history database
• Search and identify synergies between product lines to maximize customer benefit
• Perform necessary pre-job calculations to validate job design and equipment selection.
• Keep accurate paperwork of equipment used and services provided in the field.
• Gain thorough knowledge of NOV frac tool products and services including having the ability to correctly identify all tools and components.
• Recommend measures to improve methods, performance, and quality to increase efficiency.
• Providing field support by composing job programs and procedures for customer specific well scenarios
• Assist operations with critical on-the-job support (when needed)
• Attend client meetings, when necessary, to provide technical and operational support.
• Must attend all required training.
• Must be available to work outside of normal business hours as required by the nature of the business and operations
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
Minimum of 3+ year experience in Applications and Field Engineering relevant role in lower completion design
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to problem solve using thorough analytical skills
Self-motivated and committed to service quality
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Visio, etc.)
Familiar with Frac design, analysis and monitoring techniques and software’s.
Computer Aided Drafting (AutoCAD, Solidworks, ProE or equivalent)
