• Contribute to the creation and implementation of strategy, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance
• Translate the overall business strategy into operational goals and implement long and short term planning goals
• Improve manufacturing operations with regards to efficiency, cost and profitability
• In-depth study of technical design/ drawing and make minor operational changes to meet customer’s requirement Quality Control
• Meet financial targets P&L for the company and ensure value growth
• Review financial statements, sales and activity reports and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement
• Experience working in highly competitive markets.
• Plan and execute a margin strategy designed to be price competitive and maintain adequate profit for growth
Evaluate operating results and ensure that growth objectives are being met and make sure that key metrics are communicated to the team
• Continually monitor all costs especially labour costs to keep in line with budgets, sales targets and ensure that reporting of statistics is timely and accurate Communication
• Cascade information to the management team and staff members as appropriate through regular and effective meetings
• To lead by example, encourage all team members to participate and work together
• Delegate authority, empower team members to take responsibility and ownership for achievement of objectives
• Monitor, encourage and participate towards a positive team atmosphere by positively and publicly recognizing success and achievements by any member of the team
• Set relevant, fair and consistent targets, KPI’s and objectives for team members in line with overall company strategy
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Stay current and up to date on any changes that may affect the supply and demand of needed products and materials and advise others of any impact Statutory Compliance
• Support, comply and ensure complicity with Health & Safety regulations, ISO certification standards and Environmental standards, and all other company policies and procedures
• Take personal accountability for and be conversant with all statutory obligations
• Ensure that teams are suitably trained, comply with and are constantly alert to all risks
