MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
Direct the Company proposal effort on all selected proposals, from the BID/NO BID approval cycle through to submittal of the BID to the Client, incorporating the pre-bid stages of definition, planning, conceptual engineering, procurement, construction and start-up, including operation and maintenance requirements, risk assessment, estimating and interpretation and clarification with others on contractual, commercial and technical terms
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develops and executes business and proposal development objectives within established budgets to reach determined goals
• Acquires follow-on business associated with established programs or supporting new business development by determining business strategy, program identification, bid and proposal estimates, strategic plan development and proposal development.
• Directs the proposal development process to include capture/proposal management, education, training and policy for the success of acquiring follow-on or new business.
• Direct a team plan for the final review and internal evaluation of the proposal
• Delegates authority and responsibilities to subordinates to ensure that each proposal project works toward maximum potential.
