• Conduct system analysis for enhancement and development of systems and business/ functional applications in DP World Jeddah
• Troubleshoot and Maintain all in-house developed software
• Assist in management of the SPARCS interface with CTS and ICAM
• Conduct system analysis for port related functions and departments
• Analyse existing problems:
o Attend complaints from users
o Understand the nature of complaints
o Assess the impact on overall workflow
• Conduct diagnosis for respective departments and functions
• Coordinate closely with process owners to understand workflow
• Propose and design enhancements for current systems
• Document the workflows and requirements
• Conduct system testing
• Manage implementation of re designed procedure
• Prepare user manuals and conduct user training
• Understand functionality of existing business applications
• Write programs/ develop software to extend functionality of existing applications
• Write programs for integration with existing software
• Document the programming code
• Test software
• Provide system administration support (Systems, Business Applications)
o Perform backups
o Apply system updates
• Provide regular process control checks and initiate and support performance improvement activities
• Manage the SPARCS interface with CTS and ICAM
• Troubleshoot and modify all in-house programs for optimal functionality
• Responsible for safety & discipline in the work area
