Stakeholders & investors are seeking data beyond purely financial performance – ensuring they are both optimising their activities and future-proofing for the next phase of the Kingdom’s economic growth. Corporate Management needs to understand the emerging sustainability and climate change risks and opportunities, build resilience and position themselves accordingly.
ENTEC Environmental Technology aims to build a better working world by helping businesses and governments respond to environmental and sustainability challenges – both though compliance with local international requirements and by educating organisations on the long-term strategic advantages of embracing international best practice. Specifically, we help clients manage emerging risks, and reduce costs through the design and implementation of systems and processes and leverage opportunities in areas such as Environmental baselines, health and safety, sustainability, CSR and environmental management.
Due to further growth in the business an opportunity has been identified for an Operation Manager. The operation Manager will be responsible for overseeing the business’s day to day operations, leading the team and further developing the business. The leader we are looking for should have a consistent track record, strong market credentials and great customer and commercial skills. You will have extensive consultancy experience of working on sustainability projects at senior levels in the private sector and will work closely with the CEO to grow and deliver the team’s portfolio of projects.
You will be responsible for
• Business development activities including identifying, engaging and networking with both new and existing clients;
• Networking and building strong relationships with clients and other partners in the market;
• Developing and overseeing market engagement to raise profile of the team’s services both internally and externally, attracting customers and new accounts;
• Working closely with others to develop and deliver the team’s growth plans and identify and secure new consultancy opportunities to achieve the annual targets;
• Development of proposals, tenders and bids for projects for private and public-sector clients;
• Being or becoming a sustainability sector leader, who is recognised as an expert in the field, maintaining a detailed and up to date knowledge of the market and customer needs;
• Leading technically complex consultancy projects.
• Managing, coaching and developing the sustainability team, to help grow skills and capability, which will lead to further opportunities;
• Working closely with all teams (Energy, Water, Air Quality, Waste)
• Being responsible for delivering sales, revenue and profit against agreed targets, and monitoring progress towards those targets.
