On behalf of our client we are seeking a General Manager Start-Up to lead the successful launch of 4 new retail businesses in Saudi Arabia. You will be based in their Riyadh office.
The ideal applicant will be resourceful, innovative who thrives in start-up environments with sound decision-making abilities. You will develop a business plan, hire the key contributors, lead the operations, develop clients and execute the business plans.
• Manage independent retail environments and all aspects of the business operations.
• Drive sales, manage costs, oversee project management to ensure that projects stay within budgets and timelines.
• Work with higher management to prepare proposals, including budget, cash-flow projections and business plan.
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives.
• Bottom line accountability / P & L.
• Develop an advertising and marketing strategy to increase public awareness of the outlets products and services.
• Experience working in highly competitive markets.
• Plan and execute a margin strategy designed to be price competitive and maintain adequate profit for growth.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws; licenses, permits, health regulations, employment, etc
• Select and oversee installation of POS systems and IT services.
• Build, develop, and lead a team.
