1. Manage and provide academic leadership for Mohammad Al-Mana College for Health Sciences.
2. Maintain open communication between administration, faculty and staff.
3. Serve as liaison with other administrators, chairman, directors and other agencies in areas of mutual concern.
4. Plan, develop, implement, maintain and evaluate MACHS’s instructional programs and processes. Provide leadership for the evaluation and review of existing curriculum and the development and adoption of new programs and courses within Mohammad Al-Mana College for Health Sciences (MACHS). Assist in the review and analysis of the program evaluation process for all health sciences programs within MACHS.
5. Ensure the maintenance of course outlines, syllabi, adoption of textbooks and instructional media.
6. Oversee national and international accreditation process for programs and ensures that appropriate licensures, accreditations and / or certifications are maintained as necessary.
7. Supervise the development of class schedules and faculty assignments in accordance with the policies. Ensure that all classes are met as schedules or that suitable arrangements are made
8. Recommend for employment professional and support staff. Develop orientation plan for MACHS’s new faculty. Conduct program chairman and staff evaluations and make appropriate personnel recommendations in accordance with the policy. Recruit and recommend employment of a culturally diverse faculty and staff. Recommend staff development programs for faculty. Encourage professional development activities for faculty and staff.
9. Participate in the planning and marketing of the programs and services. Provide leadership in identifying and responding to community needs that fit within the college’s mission, vision and values.
10. Participate directly in the formulation of policies and procedures.
11. Establish effective communication system between administration and faculty and staff within Mohammad Al-Mana College for Health Sciences. Develop a network of collaboration with other members of the college community and healthcare providers in areas of mutual concern.
12. Manage office services and facilities, including maintaining necessary records, supplies and promoting the maintenance of state-of-the-art equipment for all educational laboratories.
13 Provide leadership in the development and approval of program institutional effectiveness plan, and develop and implement the strategic plan annually. Plan, develop and promote ways and means of improving instruction and instructional services.
