• Manage the Procurement function including its activities, employees and performance
• Develop procurement policies and procedures while ensuring all relevant requirements are fulfilled to deliver high-quality services
• Set vendor risk management policies
• Develop templates for vendor contracts in alignment with legal policies and constraints
• Review and approve vendor contracts
• Manage procurement of goods and services required by the company
• Supervise the development of annual purchasing plan in coordination with divisions/ departments to ensure alignment of needs and capabilities and achieving economy of sale
• Supervise the processing of purchase orders for materials and services and ensure prompt delivery
• Manage outsourcing of technical activities required for execution of programs/ projects and development of services/ products
• Coordinate identification, selection and engagement of vendors
• Manage the provisioning of tendering service, for the preparation of RFI and RFP templates, liaising with bidders on documentation, receiving and documentation of bids, commercial evaluation and negotiation of bids, preparation of presentations to Committees, and communication of awards to suppliers
• Manage the complete bidding process to select service providers for needed operations, maintenance, civil works within the company in order to realize maximum value from procurement transactions
• Manage relationships with service providers and supervise the implementation of all ongoing engagement with services providers to ensure adherence to the agreed-upon terms, conditions and SLA
• Manage company vendor relations and act as a functional bridge among vendors and internal stakeholders
• Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with contractual agreements
• Troubleshoot vendor problems and report them to management
• Manage the implementation of standard practices for verification of incoming and outgoing items, handling and disposition of goods, and other activities related to warehouse while ensuring best service to internal departments
• Tailor goals and key performance indicators for each member of the team and ensure effective application of the company performance management process
• Direct planning and selection of manpower, in line with the business and operational plans
• Ensure high level of employee engagement and capability development by providing on-going feedback and coaching team members within the Department
