- Prepare all cuts of meat, mince and production lines for display and wrapping, to the required Company standards and following a set production plan so as a full range is available from which customers may select.
- Replenish, rotate and display fresh meat and poultry and cabinet temperatures to provide a neat/tidy display for customers.
- Collect stock from storage area in a date sequence and takes it to the sales floors for preparation and replenishment.
- Wrap and price cuts of meat safely and stows the prepared product in rotation so it is ready for sales.
- Present all cuts of meat in appropriate trays, in accordance with Company procedures.
- Clean machinery, cabinets, equipment and surfaces to the hygiene standards required by the Company.
- Stow away deliveries of meat in the freezer & chiller in date order so that it can be withdrawn easily & in the correct sequence.
- Present in appropriate trays, wrap or re-wrap & price prepared cuts of meat in accordance with Company procedures using the designated machines so that they are ready for sale.
- Assist in the maintenance of a full, clean, tidy correctly rotated & display on the shop floor to offer a full range to customers in accordance with Company requirements.
- Ensure that customers are provided with an enjoyable shopping
- experience, reflecting the Company strategy by coordinating resources in
- the most cost-effective manner.
- Follow all statutory and Company regulations regarding hygiene, Fire,
- Health and Safety and Store Security to protect customers, colleagues
- and the business interests of the Company.
- Assist in other areas as necessary to meet the varying demand of the
- Report any shortcomings in the business to the Supervisor.
- Comply with the company's policies and procedures at all times.
Other related tasks assigned by the direct manager.
