Vice President Engineering & Construction for a large growing diversified conglomerate in Saudi Arabia. Managing 4 businesses across construction and engineering sectors reporting to Group CEO with full control of P&L

Description
With a strong reputation and market presence in the region, our client is looking to strengthen it's senior leadership team with a VP Engineering & Construction to manage 4 separate joint venture companies within this business unit. You will have responsibility for performance, profit and P&L control for all businesses. You will be the point of contact for the business unit/division for the Group CEO and responsible and accountable for the success of the companies. By managing the joint venture stakeholders, customers and managing the respective MDs of each company, you will seek to grow, develop business and improve results.
Profile
The successful individual will be a senior leader from the construction, engineering or related industrial background. ideally you will have exposure and experience in the energy sector related to downstream projects, EPC, construction and engineering, predominantly within the oil, gas petroleum and energy industries.
The VP will have experience of managing P&L and companies that employ large numbers of labour. Project based construction and engineering projects (shutdown, turnaround, civil works, etc)
Strong communication, organisation and presentation skills are essential as well as the ability to develop and nurture relationships within the JV agreements and with customers.
You will be an agent of change able to identify areas for change and growth and take the necessary changes to improve performance. an engineering background with a strategic business overview and experience of running companies in the middle east would be beneficial
