Our client is a Transport Industry Leader and currently working on the Riyadh Metro Project. They are looking for a Site Installation Manager to join their team in Saudi Arabia.
Overall: To ensure & improve targeted QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) for installation activities on site.
• Quality: Ensure that the work is carried out according to local regulations and that the installed final products satisfy the customer requirements. Participate to the improvement of the design through installation REX by reporting the information to the concerned departments.
• Cost: Mitigate any potential claims from interfacing contractors resulting from interference generated by PSD construction works (out of tolerance, delays, damages…). Train local staff, optimize skills and resources to control and improve on budgeted labour cost.
• Delivery: Ensure that the installation work is completed within the agreed timeframe. • Site Installation Manager will report to BU Installation Manager
Prior to Installation:
a. Ensures that all critical civil interfaces are well co-coordinated, surveyed, checked, documented and understood.
b. Prepares installation procedures and method statements, T&C procedure supported by the STM and the Design team.
c. Prepares the warehouse prerequisite and warehouse management.
d. Prepares the method of goods delivery to site.
During Installation: Works closely with the PM to plan and manage the site team to the satisfaction of the customer.
a. Interfaces with the customer construction manager.
b. Mobilizes workers within the company and from subcontractors.
c. Leads and coaches the FYT supervisors and testing engineers team.
d. Manage the installation subcontractor and review the daily work progress.
e. Facilitate constructive working relationships with all personnel, encouraging open communication.
f. Daily communicates with PM to summarize the progress and the difficulties encountered.
g. Weekly or/and Monthly report or/and Progress report for customer or PM or directors upon request
Site Technical Management:
a. Ensure all civil pre-requirements are respected.
b. On site supervision of system installation and testing by subcontractors.
c. Manage and resolve all project installation and operational issues with the team and work closely with the Site Project Manager to ensure completion of the project.
Safety: Promotes a Safety culture where all personnel understand the Safety, Health and Environmental Plan and operate rigorously in accordance with it. Ensure that regular Emergency Response drills and exercises are carried out in compliance with regulations
Quantity Survey: Establishes and maintains on each installation the structures and mechanisms necessary for detailed recording and reporting to the PM of all items which may give the company the opportunity to claim tie or money from its customer of others.
Other interactions:
a. Liaise with the Program Manager on Scheduling update;
b. Liaise with Supply Chain on missing, damaged and broken parts;
c. Liaise with QC Manager on NCR and ECR;
d. Liaise with Design Coordinator on technical and functional issues;
e. Support in any ad-hoc project and tasks as required by the management or project team
