• Develops, codes, tests, debugs and monitors SAP modules and the impacted functions
• Designs efficient and effective technical solutions that require ABAP programming of moderate complexity. Works with functional areas to define business requirements
• Creates software specifications and project designs
• Creates custom reports for SAP modules using ABAP
• Debugs and corrects moderate SAP module problems using ABAP to implement in the current SAP Online Service System (OSS) notes
• Modifies system screens to provide default values and eliminate unnecessary fields using transaction variants
• Designs forms and screens for SAP modules using SAPscript and SmartForms
• Creates upload programs for all SAP modules to upload data from excel
• Works with functional teams to ensure processes, procedures and technology are integrated.
• Assists in defining technical requirements for ongoing system maintenance and future functionality to meet requirements and improve system efficiency.
• Provides technical support to users on SAP modules
• Provide programming of in-house developments as per the requirement of the company
• Manage system analysis and design for any new or add-on to the core business applications in co-ordination with Business Application Analyst
• Manage different data related activities including data downloading, uploading, cross platform migration, bulk data insertion, etc. in co-ordination with Business Application Analyst
• Assist the Business Application Analyst on technical issues related to business applications
• Troubleshoot the technical bugs and/or other applications problems to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties
• Coordinate with vendor/technical service provider in case of any technical issue
• Maintain and administer technical documentation related to in-house developments
• Comply with and implement applicable policies / procedures including enforced Information Systems Security Policy
• All other duties as assigned
