1. Develops, maintains, implements and updates an effective HSSE management System aligned with international standards and the Organization vision including Policy, Objectives, Procedures, and associated forms.
2. Recruits, leads and follows up on HSSE teams (Office and Projects) for an effective implementation of the Organization HSSE management system.
3. Manages the HSSE sections resources to ensure training and development needs are always accurately defined, timely provided and properly evaluated.
4. Promotes a proactive positive HSSE culture within the organization and its projects.
5. Defines the Organization HSSE training needs to ensure an effective level of awareness of HSSE matters across the Organization.
6. Drives HSSE training within the company.
7. Reports HSSE performance trends to Top Management highlighting major issues that could impact business performance.
8. Coordinates all HSSE matters by receiving regular reports, conducting visits, and ensuring that information is communicated effectively to keep all concerned parties fully informed.
9. Develops and monitors continuous improvement techniques and practices across all HSSE functions.
10. Writes reports and other professional correspondences with the ability to effectively present information to clients, industry bodies as well as employees.
11. Ensures Internal and External Audits are carried out regularly and the findings reported to Top Management.
