- Managing and supervising all Lines of general Insurance.
- Develop the company's portfolio in all classes of insurance.
- Ensure that Technical Depts. are working in compliance with the
Company's Underwriting Guidelines.
- Give technical support required to Agents/Brokers when
approaching potential and existing clients.
- Follow and support the process of policies issuing,
- Negotiate terms with brokers and customers based on the requirements
- Complete claims handling / negotiation with client/insurer.
- Prepare all the desired management reports regarding claims to the top management
- Ensure the correct level of service for major accounts.
-Heading joint meetings between Underwriting and Claims people to discuss all the common issues.
-Risk selection and technical assessment, pricing
and underwriting of insurance contracts in Engineering/ Property/ Casualty/Motor
lines.
-Giving rates and technical assistance to the
underwriter.
-Decide whether the risk is within the treaty
levels to decide if approaching for fac. Re-Insurance support.
