Job Purpose
The main purpose of the Operations Supervisor‘s job is to manage PMV operations in an efficient and timely manner, complying with ESEC's standards of quality, and timing
Principal Accountabilities
Accountable for monitoring and documenting the utilization of fleet resources (operators, equipment, and tools) on site and ensuring that this utilization is in line with the planned / agreed utilization and in respect of equipment and tool utilization standards (proper handling, use, and down-times of the equipment, etc.)
Ensures all fleet assets are properly tagged and licensed
Prepares the accident claims to be sent to administration and follow up on repairs
Follows up on third party repairs
Accountable for the mobilization and demobilization (hire off hire) of fleet assets
Ensures that a qualified driver / operator is ready to be transferred with the asset
Accountable for the timely and accurate reporting of equipment (including rentals) and tools status on site
Interacts with fleet operators and drivers for daily operational matters
Assists the Transport & Operations Unit Head in fleet mobilization, and fleet demobilization
Manages and controls the timesheets of fleet staff on project sites (Fleet Coordinators, drivers, operators, repair crews, etc.)
Provides support for the professional development (including training) of direct reports
Communications and Working Relationships
Reports to and supports the Transport & Operations Unit Head on all operational matters
Coordinates with Operations on fleet mobilization / demobilization
Interacts with and manages direct reports and operational issues on a daily basis
