- Follow & analyse the food & beverage market as well as factors driving consumer trends and the influence on food developers, creating a forward-looking view on the impact on our ingredients business:
- Identify opportunities for growth, using insights provided by “Group Marketing” and working closely together with the respective business development & category managers.
- Closely following market developments of our ingredient portfolio, supporting the Ingredient Reputation Management team.
- Presenting recommendations based on appropriate data and insights on a continuous basis.
- Supporting the creation of storylines to promote our products & capabilities.
- Drive the understanding of different customer needs and convert insights into on-trend solutions, new product concepts & sales tools by working closely with the commercial and technical teams.
- Creation of marketing materials & sales tools; trend presentations, market insights presentations and product launch presentations.
- Commercialization of projects; responsible for the product launches from the designated launch program including all activities from pre- to post launch:
- Developing value propositions & key messaging.
- Identify market potential, supporting commercial teams.
- Preparation and presentation of internal & external promotion materials.
- Ensure follow-up & measurement of success and suggest/implement proper actions based on the outcome.
- Ensure utilization of customer insights by working closely together with the sales teams:
- Customer needs activation through identified growth opportunities, understanding both the customer and business needs.
- Support the creation of customer development plans & value proposals by closely collaborating with the commercial teams.
- Stay abreast of developments in the food industry relative to our customer base.
- Support the sales teams with customer visits and customer innovation days by developing materials and giving presentations/joining visits.
