Core Responsibilities:
• Collects training needs analysis different behavioral and technical training requirements and accordingly develops a list of trainings required by GMG and schedules according to annual training calendar
• Makes detailed plans for execution of development needs that create the most efficient process whilst optimizing economies of scale for the group regionally
• Ensure smooth execution of the induction process for the new entrants (induction training, orientation plan etc.)
• Studies previous training records and performance management development plans, lists identified training needs, conducts gap analysis and suggests training courses and programs
• Coordinates with Learning & Development function at GMG HO & possibly external training vendors/principals to deliver training sessions to participants ensuring quality standards are met
• Measures, completes admin processes & reports on training effectiveness of programs, suggests any improvements after follow up with managers and colleagues in regards to training feedback and adherence to assigned business needs and objectives
• Accurately records attendance, onboarding requirements, assessment results, performance standards and evidence of positive organizational impact in order to justify ROI of development initiatives
• Adheres to budgets in conjunction with division training budgets, tracks expenses and presents reports on a regular basis to Learning and Development management
• Keeps abreast of latest training techniques and ensures their own personal development continues
People Management:
• Defines goals and key performance indicators, ensuring effective implementation of the GMG’s performance management process
• Develops talent within the business teams by providing guidance and coaching to achieve the defined goals
• Supports a culture of feedback and coaching in the Business Unit/ Department by providing feedback on an ongoing basis, identifying development needs and coaching the employees on the areas of improvement
• Liaises with various business heads to define needs and outcomes
• Partners with GMG Learning & Development function to provide effective and efficient execution of People Development initiatives
