Job Descriptions, Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Supervise general field electrical & instrumentation installation works on different construction sites, including cable pulling, conduits, installation of panels, splicing, installation and calibration of instruments, terminations, etc.
Work in the integrated team during pre-commissioning and commissioning.
Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning tests and checks and solve problems on instrumentation.
Supervise loop checking and verify that the works are performed as per established procedure and standards
Carry out function tests
Maintain and update the instruments overrides records
Interface with other disciplines
Responsible for safety, safe working practices in all the areas under its control
Maintain a comprehensive log of the activities and report progress
Ensure that the works proceed in conformity with the schedule, and report any deviations
Reporting to Construction Manager during installation, and Precommissioning Manager during precommissioning
Requirements for the position:
Minimum 10 years’ experience in Oil & Gas industry, including 5 years in Instrumentation / Control System installation, testing and commissioning.
Knowledge of piping instrumentation systems
Able to supervise a team of technicians and labor (25 persons)
Excellent communication, leadership and technical skills
Driving HSE performance in the project execution
To have technical vocabulary and very good level in English
Able to train Junior Instrumentation Technicians
