KBR is looking for a highly motivated, dynamic and strategic thinking Director of Business Services. Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for all of the financial activities throughout the business.
You will be accountable for all the business service departments within KBR including Finance, Human Resource Management, Information Technology, Facilities and Administration.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Finance Manager / Director to become a key member of the KBR management team, taking direct responsibility for the strategic development of crucial business units while broadening their experience and helping to ensure KBRs continued success.
Role Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Managing Director the Business Services Director will be responsible for all financial activities including Financial Reporting, GL, AP, AR, cost, balance sheet, investment, budgets, forecasts, hedging, strategic planning, cash flow, business performance and Sox compliance
The Business Services Director will have direct responsibility for all aspects of Accounting and Finance, Human Resource Management, Information Technology, Facilities and Administration
Budgeting, forecasting, and working capital management
Directs development and preparation of financial reports, including the analysis of budget variances
Monitors, advises, and projects flow of actual costs incurred throughout the year in comparison with the related budget
Provides human resource and labor relation services to ensure the technical competency, skills, knowledge and behavior of the organization
Guides the development and implementation of system improvements
Provides leadership by directing the efforts of personnel involved in providing a variety of support to the entire organization
Responsible for the overall performance of the assigned departments and functions
Insures awareness and monitors employee compliance with all applicable company directives, policies, and procedures

Responsible for defining training requirements, developing employee skills, and promoting continuous improvement
Develops and implements performance standards and internal controls.
