This role is responsible for developing and implementing Castrol’s “Winning in Market Place” strategy for product brands/ market space strategies .It works closely with the brand and sales teams to translate the brand strategies into action plans to win value share in the channels, working across Independent workshops, Franchised workshops and retail.
This role also focusses on development of offers for CAS and FWS for the Egyptian market.
This role works very closely with the internal and external sales team to implement the brand strategies on the ground.
Work closely with the brand manager in the development and implementation of channel offers based on brand strategy. Reflecting channel insights into development of brand plans.
Roll out the acquisition and development program for the branded workshops.
Work closely with the marketing and sales team to develop and implement insight based offers for channels of choice –FWS and CAS on customer acquisition, loyalty and trade up strategies by channel.
Monitoring and responding to competitor activity in the market to ensure value share gain
Roll out B2B2C programs along with the brand manager, that help leverage channels with consumers
Manage budgets for trade marketing.
Monitoring channel sales performance and taking actions for aligning performance to meet company objectives.
Drive key retail programs through the team of merchandisers :
• Driving In-store visibility through processes and programs to manage store layouts, product planograms, increasing Share of Shelf, through the merchandising teams
• Improve our trade and mechanic advocacy to drive consumer preference as well as volume and value share.
Teamwork & Partnership –works closely with the ME marketing team as well as with the sales teams .
Market visits - Off all the marketing roles, this one requires the most frequent in-market presence, and therefore travel and market visits are key.
Influencing Skills – essential when working with sales, technical and marketing – regional & global, as well as managing agency relationships to ensure on-time, in budget delivery of activation programmes
