Setting the plan to be applied for collecting samples and prepare it for measuring and testing as per the approved procedures.
Checks product quality during production process and inform his superior in case of deviations.
Follows billet charging to reheating furnace by heat wise and ensures that the charges heat no. comply with the heat no. printed on the tag.
Applies visual inspection in final products as per the applied procedures at cooling bed, cold shear and tying M/C.
Collects samples from the check points as per the approved procedures.
Measures product dimensions and unit weight as per the approved procedures then take the necessary action in case of deviation.
Records the results of measuring and inspection data in the approved forms.
Keeps the records related to inspection and testing in an updated database or hard copy.
Reviews no. of bars per bundle as cross check by takes random samples.
Keeps inspection and testing tools cleaned, calibrated and accurate.
Puts quality control tags red, yellow, or both and make it fixed on the segregated bundle in case of nonconformity as per acceptance criteria and control of non-conforming product procedure.
Commitment to follow safety and environment precaution during his duty.
Executes any other tasks ordered by his manager.
